I think it's a much more practical use for rebar!  :bigok:

Hey Red01 what's up with the quote easy button?  Any way the rebar case guards held up better than the OEM ones would have if i hadn't noticed the bottom bracket had cracked loose on the left OEM one. I dumped the old girl over on the L-side. One of those just can't hold it without tearing a gut! I sold the OEM's on Ebay but MiGed em better than they were, while i had it off made one out of duct tape (as U say) Made the stand from just a few measurements in a few minutes, and with the bike 40 miles away. Works almost perfect! Wish i could work the market that way....   :beers:

Hey Daytona, better not park the bike in this picture http://img38.imageshack.us/full.php?image=picture0058zz.jpg
near any Italian construction sites, or else it'll end up with a few yards of cement poured on it!  :duh:
You know what those guys are like when it comes to rebar

Hey i will take that W/a grain of salt! I guess!!! And by the way its concrete, cement bonds the aggregate together. Don't think much of my creations i take it? I'm crushed...    :monkeymoon:  :monkeymoon:    :beers:

Definitely said with tongue in cheek, and the cement was thrown in (pardon the pun) to see who was paying attention.
As far as your creations, I think they are cool. I like different stuff that flies in the face of "Normal"
That's why I put Hiway pegs on my 04/B12, you should see the looks I get!

 :beers:

Daytona: Hey Red01 what's up with the quote easy button?

During Pete's brief 20 hour visit to his home, he managed to squeeze in the time to install the latest upgrade to the board's software... so I have a feeling this glitch has something to do with that. Until it gets fixed, the best thing to do is remove the name, with quotation marks and equal sign, or edit it like I did above to put the name outside the quote tag. (I added the bold tags to the name to separate it from the message, you can do that, too, if you wish.)

The way it automatically works is the same as always, it just isn't triggering the format like it's supposed to.

I for one think your rebar stand is beautiful!   :congrats:

It's inspired me to weld one up myself.  I've always wanted a stand, just never wanted bad enough to part with the $150.  Hehe.

You too? I put my hiway bars on top of the suzuki case guards. Great relaxer on lo-ooong rides, even tho I use a gel seat.
