Not from there, but do travel frequently to the Birmingham area for work.  I would love to ride the mountain roads you have!

Also love the Barber Motorsports Museum.  If you haven't been I highly recommend it!!  Lots of bikes.

Been there, done that, have a few t shirts left over. You guys can have Alabama, worst state I have ever lived in.

By the way if you think there are good mountain roads down there you need to get out more. East TN, North Georgia, South Carolina, ect have it far beat and then you can get into places even further up the range on the East Coast. Not to mention the real mountain range far to the west. :)

    Yes, we "Barber" every year and this year will be no different. We will be down there all week-end and have intentions of getting paddock passes this year too. We didn't get them last year and we regretted it so that's that!  Banditone1250s....
