New to the forums . . .

Hello everyone:

I register find out more information on the Bandit 400. I returning to riding after 22 years. The last moto I rode was a Honda crf250 when I was 9.

So I'll be reading Bandit info here heavily for next few days . . .

Welcome!!  er . . Welcome back. . to riding that is.  I took a 20 year hiatus from riding, but I can't say I rode a 250 at 9. I was probably doing 70's or 80's back then.  (small dirt bikes).

This just in . . . . I bought a 1991 Bandit 400 with 3300 miles on it for $150  :yikes:

Needs fork seals, cdi, rust removal (maybe) and battery. . . .

Pictures later this week!!

Congrats on the buy, Sounds like you got a great deal.

I started riding again last year after 25 years being without a bike. The last bike I rode prior
was a kawasaki kz400 what a difference 25 years makes!!

Stay safe but have some fun too.

All I need to purchase now is tires and the rings for the doing the fork seals . . . . And it runs like a champ!!

Recommendation on tires?

Seriously though, you might get a better response asking this in the 250/400 forum.
Be sure to state what you want out of a tire... long tread life, sticky track performance or a comprimise somewhere in between.
