What size carbs do the 400 have?
-
What size main jets are you using?
-
i use similar filters :beers: and would also like to know what size main jets you are using
also i really like the sound of it at full throttle

sorry, iv'e missunderstand him.
-
no problem...
did you have the set installed with a dyno? or did you just mounted it and went with it?
-
looks nice im sure he has 33mm carbs! cheers
I ran 117 120 when i ran that setup!

In israel it's not possible to install on dyno (65$ for 1 run)
so i, mounted it and went with it, mounted it and went with it, mounted it and went with it, mounted it and went with it, mounted it and went with it...
-
That price is comparible to here!
-
here normal is €40 for 1 run or about € 240 to have the carbs setup by a specialist who does it on the dyno
-
How many breather filters did you need? I saw a red one in the picture above.
Where did you buy the filters?
-
I'll bet she really rips now! :bigok:
Will you try to attach the side covers somehow? Without them, that's a big, empty space in there. Still... very cool!
-
Thanks for the positive responds

Right i have a non believer of a friend who thinks that you cannot fit pods to a gk73a/bandit. so someone find me somewhere that sells pods like these please.
-
1. Contact Factory Pro and ask if they still carry (or can get) BMC's 3092 kit.
2. Armed with the diameter of the carbs' bellmouth, you can buy the appropriate K&N pods from any K&N dealer.
-
yeah he claims the 3092's don't fit though.
-
Thats how i rolled max with pods on my gsxr when it was stock and a stage 3
-
Do you know which pods though jay? k&n dont seem to make any.....
-

I believe you can get universal filters from UNI. I've had good luck with the foam filters & they are cheaper than K&N.
-
Love the look of the pods. :thumb: Wish I had the balls to go to this setup, but it took me sooooo long to dial in the jetting after installation of the Yoshi pipe and K&N filter that I'm afraid to try anything else.

I'd be afraid of killing the mileage even more... sheesh. The only bike that ran out of gas on the PNW Bandit Rally 2008 was my poor little B4. 100 miles of WOT in the mountains is an empty tank... :annoy:
Anyway, I have a friend who claims to be Suzuki factory trained... whatever... but he claims that pods are a disaster because of turbulence. I then to think the side covers would alleviate that, but what do I know. Anyone have definitive insight into the performance of pods on the B4?

this is how the pods where on my bike when it was stock made 55hp the rubber mounts that go to the air box from the carbs to the box where taken out of the air box mounted to the carbs then the pods slide over that... Dont ask me thats how i bought it we ran it on the dyno and that what it made
