Hey Jay, still got those GSXR cams?

What kind of condition are they in? I'm supposing they are used, are they still in tolerance? Would I be better off just installing two intake cams (or is it two exhaust cams?)?

Also, still have any of those GSXR400 boxes laying about that you'd like to drop off cheap? I know you said they wouldn't fire the Bandit, but my mechanic thinks he may have some ideas on that.

Whats the possibility of finding an aftermarker header that'll bolt right on without changing the oil pan (IE: No GSXR400 header)?

Yeah, my mechanic in Orlando (racer and professional race-bike engine builder) told me, "You can't sell this bike"

Oh, Jay, he also said if you can get him a GSXR400 he'd buy it off you. Most interested in that!

havent tried the 2 intake or exhaust yet ,yes still have one set left im keeping the rest! the boxes dont want to sell any just yet till i figure out whats up myself! I have a oil pan and pick up would give ya with my duaL carbon high pipes and the header thats all i know for know! thay are even harder to come by than a b4 header! I can take pics for you! As far as the gsxr goes try www.gpcmoto.com they sell used bikes or he can try to talk some one in the uk to tear theres apart and ship it in pieces! 600.00 if you want the pipes and oilpan and sump?

Im still at work and wont be home for a bit tho im heading to the dealer to trade my polini 50 in for a 05 crf 50 for the little one the polini is just to fast, i have a problem with going extreme so the crf is a step down , But i already ordered a yosh trs comp system for it !LOL

Oh yeah, and I'll take that last set of GSXR400 cams for $200 shipped if they are in good shape and within spec. How much wear on them, do you know?

You might find yourself on the CRF50 more then your little guy. Tons of great mods to make the CRF50 a big boys toy (get a sano frame kit!!). Hard on the pocket book though. My buddy is right addicted to his fiddy. If the bandit wasn't absorbing all of my free cash, I'd pick one up.

B4 stock cams
Intake lobe height 32.84mm
exhaust lobe height 32.54mm

Gsxr 400 stock cams
Intake 33.10mm
exhaust 32.75mm

Ah, ok, those aren't -too- wild...

How worn are the cams? I don't really want to stick worn out cams on my bike, that wouldn't help at all.

Yea i got springs coming for forks and shock and clutch and the yosh tri oval exhaust and thats just the beginning
