Hi guys, chef in Bali here, still around but the mighty Bandit has been stored due to a clampdown on "legal "registration of bikes over 250cc.
I always had plans of just taking it for rides on the back roads just to keep her running sweet but with the little fella ( now 2)....buying a house & work, just never had time.
Felt sad looking at it last night parked to the shiny Ninja 250R so have decided time to pull the covers, give her a polish & try & get her going.
Nothing was done to the bike before storage & seafoam additives are not available here.
What do you guys reckon, change oil & coolant, charge the battery & see what happens or is there some other areas i should look at also?
Good to be back.

Depends on how long it has been stored.
Most important will be to drain the tank and carb float bowls, and start with fresh gasoline, charge the battery and see how it goes. Likely you will be removing the carbs and cleaning them...
Oil change depends on how many hours are on the oil, but it never hurts.
Coolant change if it's been a few years.

Try some Seafoam in the gas and ride a couple hundred miles first. Then if the carbs still seem clogged you may have to clean out the small openings in them.
