ok short version.
91 bandit 400 w/ 97 srad motor in it. has d&d high mount exhaust.
runs but needs a tank.
I had my friend build it, then I lost interest(had kids) so I sold it to him. he told me he would sell it back to me for what he bought it for.(1700). l he was mounting a 96-99 gsxr tank and apparantley it works. I don't know if he is including a tank or not. he said just cleaned the carbs out again.
the title in still in my name. clear blue. he said that its a wheelie monster.... 117 hp @ 375lbs.
just thought I would post it here. I'm NOT going to post any where else.

BTW - sounds cool!
-
yes Houston. and the bike is here as well. I'll try to get some pics. might take a few days because the the bike is in his warehouse. so I need him to take me there. so I'll post them as soon as I can get there.
I only have pics of when it was a 400 but will have to scan them because they are in picture form.

what did he have to do to the frame to get the motor in i know what i had to do!
-
build new mounting brackets and rebuild part of the frame.
have you done the same build?
-
yes i had the frame rails reworked so they look stock and im using a 98 gsxr 600 srad motor the fram is done !
-
what are you going to do for the tank???
-
im either using a 98 tank or one of the 2 - 2002-2003 tanks i got !Any thing fits with fabrication but the key is to make it look stock like it was supposed to be in there! the guy that did my frame is top notch all about quality and looks! :beers:

And the pics of this beast are coming when??? (resized to fit something other than an IMAX screen, of course! :stickpoke: )

it was built before the 2000 750 style came out. that tank probably fits better since its a bit smaller.

after i decide on the subframe ordeal! :stickpoke:
