I'm looking for a complete carb assembly for my GSF400, does anyone have one to sell or any suggestions where to find one?
-
Try www.banditspares.com he claims to stock both standard carbs and carbs for the VV motor!!
Hope you manage to get some
-
do you still need those carbs?
-
i too need carburetor assembly for a 1992 gsf400. someone has got to have one for sale.
-
I have a set. Needs floats (previous owner actually drilled holes in them), Orings between carbs, plugs and gsxr400's rebuild kit. Probably $200 of parts that look like they should cost $10.
Anyway it is $100. And then you have to put it together.
I bought it for $80 on Ebay and cleaned the crap out of it, only to find that it leaked gas and needed a lot of TLC.
I was keeping it to play with as my 1992 400 has a common 4K dead spot, and I wanted to have 2 carbs to switch between for testing. As it turned out, I just rev the crap out of the bike and try to ignore the dead spot.

Tomacgti has a fix for this flat spot i think? Ask him :beers:

set the idle to 4500 rpm? :stickpoke:

Uh, $100 for a set of carbs? That you claim need $200 of parts??
LOL
You can get carbs for virtually nothing on ebay. I see them go for like £15 all the time which is like less than $30

That is in the UK where Bandit parts litter the landscape. Like I said, I bought them for $80 on Ebay US, and recently saw another set off a working Bandit (working how well, I don't know) for over $200, again on Ebay US. $200 of carb repair parts is pretty insubstantial looking.

I need a carb as well for a 92 USA model. If not a complete carb, then just the carb body. That's all I really need.
Thanks!
