Another One Bites The Dust
« on: September 02, 2009, 03:54:37 AM »

Hard to believe I walked away from this with only two busted ribs and a lot of sore muscles. I guess that Motoport Kevlar riding outfit does work after all.

Oh well, I guess it's time to move on...

OUCH..... broken ribs suck - hope you have a recliner to sleep in.  That's the only thing that saved me.

You were lucky to walk away from that by the looks of it. That is one sad looking little bandit now.

Glad you're okay. That's one of the roughest bandits I've ever seen. :( Highside?

I was having a quick look through the forum the other night and saw this. I did think 'ouch' at the time.
But I've had a proper look this time and noticed how much is missing from the left side of the bike!
Side cover, who foot peg assy, cracked frame, bent swingarm?

Glad you're still with us to tell the tale... if you want to tell the tale that is.
Wish you a speedy recovery :thumb:

I was on an on-ramp from one road to another when somebody came in hot behind on another bike.  I was afraid to slow down fearing he might rear-end me. The on-ramp had an increasing radius at the top, I tried to compensate but just tipped the very edge of the curb and went airborne. As I landed the bike just went away from me and tumbled. Amazingly it didn't hit any other traffic.

Oof.  So what's the whole story?  I mean, all the kitty litter is coming out of the bike, so it must be really bad!

Yeah man, glad to hear you walked away from that one.

I think that's the worst Bandit aftermath I've seen in some time.

i like the before accident pictures better!
glad you walked away from it though, and as much as broken ribs suck (and they do I'm told I've been lucky in that department) it's the good kind of 'i'm still alive' pain.
