Come on Jay, spill the beans.
-
I say somthin fast and going it something that use to be slow...aka big goin into somtehing small!
-
I remember Jay saying something about a GSR, fuel injected loveliness!!:winner:
-
Chris gets the chicken dinner  yes my 2002 gsr 400 fuel injected motor. Sorry tjs i wouldnt waste my frame on a fine 1000 motor. Some people just need to know their limits lol :yikes:
-
So this GSR400 engine..what is it? A smaller bore/stroke GSR600 engine? or did they add fuel injection to b400 ENGINE OMFG??!??!?!?!?
-
Squishy just a smaller gsr how it looks it would probably bolt right to any gsxr frame srad and up. But I'd like to stuff it in my little gsxr frame.
-
How about bandit 400 frame? :bandit:
-
The gsxr and bandit frames are the same one metal one aluminum small differences lighter the gsxr. Going to take some mods to get the gsr motor in my gsxr 400 frame or a bandit frame. Put it in a bigger frame and you have your own CRT mini motogp bike.
-
Well it would be cool to have a gsr injection motor in a bandit 400 hehe.. Especially since GSR400 engine were even made in 2011 and the newer ones make 60HP
-
So is it same casings as gsr6?
You still got the 73a? ive got a nice 73a sp that im rebuilding. Costs are making the build slow but in the process of making carbon panel work at the moment.
-
It would be easier in the bandit frame easier to weld. Yes I still have most of the 73. About the cases not sure, I think I have a .parts manual for the gsr that's why I started the project there was enough parts in the us to keep the motor going. My thought was new and fuel injected and still a 400 lucky it made it from japan.
