that little race track looks fun. one thing now that i am really unsure of is getting the racing permit. all the tracks look like they have courses to get these permits. but are they all the same? can i use this permit anywhere? i tho it would be fun i will probly end up going to a bigger course as my buddy that lives up in fort mac who i will be riding with (and going to the track with) has a 636, so i dont think he will like small track to much. gotta learn how to go drag racing to, my sisters friend laughed at my bike when i told him it had 50hp. i asked him if he wanted to race for slips. because he has a turbo ed bmw, but we are just doing $50 some time this summer at bud park.
I'm pretty sure that when you go for the race school at Stratotech or Race City, you get a CMA or CMRC license, which should let you race at any properly sanctioned track in Canada. I don't have my road race license(and my motocross one is currently expired)so I'm just guessing. But you better sign up fast, if you want to go this year. Or you could just show up and do track days, which don't require a race license.
As for which track is better, I've asked a few riders, they all have different opinions. It doesn't seem to matter what size of machine they ride, either. It's just personal preference, whether you like big speed or a technical track. And Castrol Bud Capital Labatt whatever they call it now Raceway Park has a road course coming on as well. Personally, I think that any track is good.
