Hi Again.
I bought a FUEL end can before xmas, Finaly got round to cutting the spare Pipe down the other day.
Told to cut it as close to the tail part weld.
After i did it left this thin bit sticking out.
I then cut this off, ( and steped on it by mistake )

and U can see that the tube has a 2nd layer inside.

Any one else that has replaced the end can, know how far down this 2nd bit goes ?
If its removable ?
If its worth removing ( if it can be ) ?
Cheers for reading
Jay

Need to refraze the above.....
The bit that was left sticking out was on the pipe side, and went into the tail pipe , i had to slide and twist the tail pipe off of it....

Looks like plugs for an air injection system (Suzuki calls it PAIR on the B12) for a country that required some emission control.

Or places to put an exhaust gas analyzer for tuning the individual carburetors. ?
-
Ye i would have thought it for set up at the factory.
That steel tube inside goes all the way down to the collector so it has to stay in.
Been posted before but theres also a small stainless pipe inside the collector to further restric the bike.

Thanks for the Answers. :)

i'm pretty sure the allen head bolts are for connecting an exhaust gas sniffer for tuning purposes.
the joys of tuning 4 carbs.
