i had the first ride yesterday,
the fork is owesome, better handling, and way too much brake now !!!
-
Wow, man. Those forks are sweet!
Having spent some time on my F3 now, I will certainly say that the biggest weakness of the B4 is the brakes. I can't believe how much I can lean on the brakes on the Honda.
-
Very cool. How was the process of getting here?
-
same front end on my bike, got to love it, what shock are you using your swingarm angle looks a bit rediculous. Looks good brother
cheers
Now you need a big bore kit to loft the bigger front end up in the air LOL
-
for the process, it take time, strip down everything ,cleaning,painting...
i started 3 mo ago on my free time
the fork is easy to install , you have some great infos in the faq section.
It is a 05 750 gsxr fork, you just have to put a stock bottom bearing from a b4 and use the right one for the top , the process can be done in few hours.
for the rear shock , i wanted to raise the back, so i used one from a SV1000 (give +/- 3") it's olmost plug and play.
For a big bore kit?for my point of view, it's a lose of money to just bore out the engine without a porting/valve job and go for bigger carbs/race carbs... depend what you want to do or looking for.
just play on pignon/sprocket size will give a great result if it's just for up the front :)

More cc's more hp more torque without porting or bigger carbs everything else you do just comploiments the big bore and gives you that much more. cheers to each his own.

3"????? Watch your nuts! (assuming you're a guy) The rear was lifted <2" on mine and I was constantly sliding into the tank. What did that f/e do to the front height?

i didn't mesure before , not sure i have 3" ,
i took the mesurement i have 39" to the top rear tail,
is somebody can mesure on a stock b4
the front is almost 38" and yes it slide more into the tank, so pitter what did you do about the nuts, did you cut them or used some duck tape ? lol
