B4 Sliders
« on: July 16, 2008, 12:50:38 AM »
Hi everyone,

I researched sliders here on the forums and found a thread of a guy in Canada that custom made them. His name is Kevan and I have contacted him. Not sure if anyone else would like to get some but I did ask him about a discount on a group purchase just in case

Let me know if anyone is interested so I can email him a qty to get a quote. Hopefully we can save some dough!!

Thanks,
Tony

Get some more details.  I'd be interested too depending on price, I'm also from Canada.

Hello,
I am the guy making the sliders. They are $65.00 plus shipping, which is normally no more than $10.00, depending where you live. Tony has his now and he can comment on the quality. Photos are available.

Thanks,
Kevan

gs937, where are the photos?  (Links?)  I'd definitely be interested depending on how good they look, or if they fit, on an '08 B1250S.

Hey everyone, this is my first post on the board. Just wanna say this is a great forum, and Ive already learned a lot from here just from browsing around.  :thanks:

I bought a 91 b4 from one of my brothers friends a month ago, and today i finally got to dmv and got it registered and all that good stuff.

but to stay on topic, my brother made me some sliders out of solid white nylon stock. its about an inch or two in diameter, and 3.5 inches long. he used the lathe at his work and turned out the inside, then drilled a hole in the end for the bolt. the sliders were free, all i had to buy (for $5.50) were longer bolts for the engine mount/frame right there. check out the pictures and let me know what you guys think, shes still under cosmetic construction so go easy on me

Hi kevan tried emailing you but got a reply saying delivery failure. If you want request funds from me for a pair of sliders on paypal m1ke-h (at) hotmail.co.uk replace (at) with @. I will need shipping to the uk as well so make sure you charge for that.

Hi all,

Just to say that I bought a pair of these from Kevan the other month and will happily vouch for them.  They are fantastic quality, fit perfectly and were easy to attach to my Japanese 92 Bandit 400V.  Here's hoping we never have to use them.

Hi Kevan, I'll try taking some pictures this weekend as promised, British summer rainstorms permitting...  I'll link them to this thread also if people are interested.

Later.
