B4 Top Yoke Wanted
« on: April 19, 2011, 03:38:07 PM »
Hi,
Any one in the UK got a B4 top Yoke with clamp risers kicking about they dont need & wanna get rid of ?
I take it , that it will be a direct swop out for the non riser top yoke ?

I got a spare non-riser type , top & bottom set with apparently good bearings  ( no spare clipon bars though as there still on me bike and never got spares with the yokes ).

Swop the set for the riser top, or , if possable , a good low price please ( as im skint )
:)

last year, some one on here said thay had some, but have probably allready got shot of them ?

Thanks for reading
Jay

OR ....
As both B4 & B6 use 41mm forks.

Will a B6 top yoke fit ( straight swop ? )

if not, will the B6 top and bottom yokes ,
if so ,what else will be needed ?
changing stearing bearings / wheel spacers ???

cheers for reading

Don't know if you could use just the top B6 bit, but considering B6 and GSX600/750F (Katana in the USA) fork assys are a popular swap for folks wanting dual disc front ends, the whole thing ought to work... the main question would be it the B6 clocks mount to the upper in the same way as the B4.  (Would have to be a 1G B6 or naked 2G, since the 2G S version mounts the clocks in the fairing.)
