Back in the saddle...
« on: September 19, 2007, 12:37:50 AM »
Bought bike, Rode for 2 weeks, Crashed bike, waited for 6 weeks and finally started it this morning!!!! Rode it again yahoo...

Cracked Clutch cover,
Busted headlight and signals
New Carb Kit
Dropped carbs on ground and had to weld a tab on and drill and tap a new hole.
Leak in Starter cover now and ignition sticky.

All done just in time to head out of town for a week for work it's running and better then ever after that list of mishaps.

Huge thanks to Jay, Bart, Pitter4 and the many others for the help and plethora of info that I so unwittingly asked for without doing the extensive searching I should have.

Cheers guys!! :beers:
