I guess this is just a rant, but it seems as if resources (aside from this board) are pretty scarce for b400 owners. i really wish there were some other members in the area to just chit chat and ride together with. Maybe I'm just used to the whole car thing. Everyone and their mother has a BMW in my area.

Is anyone in Southern California around Orange County?

Dude - the BIKE is pretty scarce.  In most respects, I find that to be a positive.  You don't see them around everywhere, even in SoCal.

That is one of the reason I still haven't let go of the bandit.
Not to mention, it doesn't look so dated like other older bikes out there.

gs500, SV people, and maybe hardcore naked ninja modders
in southern california will always let you ride and talk bikes with them
you kinda have to just sneak into other communities
do a search for other local forums and you'll find
a few community rides to spark your interest

they will not turn you away
i haven't met anyone that does
not love the look of this bike

be proud you aren't the
owner of the gazillion
modern gixxers, harleys or busas out there

I agree.  My bike is one big homage to Ebay.

But the reverse side of the coin is that it is relatively rare and a great conversation starter.  The kind of people I find interesting to talk to give props to the little bike.  It may be worth the scrounging.

I hadn't seen the Frapper page either.... I'm on there now.

And nice, I'm all alone ~ not even someone in Any of the 7 neighboring states.

Any time i pull into a rest stop or gas station the only other bike that might get more attention is a Ducati, there can be new GSXR/ CBR/ ZX'S and there will always be a crowd around my bike wondering what it is, and commenting on it's great looks
