Title: BANDIT 400 TWIN DISC - FALLING APART INFRONT OF ME
Post by: benallenuk on December 03, 2006, 11:22:44 AM
Hi guys, Ive got a twin disc bandit 400, The braking surface is in great condition, but the spring washers that make the disc, 'float' have kinda disintegrated. I noticed that one of the rivet's was hitting the caliper making a 'metal on metal 'noise.  I dont know how it passed a recent MOT?  I can make the disc  wobble from side to side, which is quite disconcerting.

My question, does anyone know of a company that can rebuild front discs, as I dont fancy paying 250.00 Pounds for a new set.

Cheers

Hey Ben,
Do you fancy getting used discs? If so, go to the EBC website and check their replacement numbers and browse through the other Suzuki bikes, and you will find a ton of other bikes that have rotors you can use, then, hello Ebay. I think I posted a link to the EBC catalogs a while back, but I'm too lazy to check.
Regards,
Steve
