Chris/Thief400's Picture post gave me an idea.  If you've got a pic of your B4 hosted somewhere, post ONE here!  

A few rules:

*  Please just post one pic.  We don't want this to be anymore dial-up unfriendly than it has to be.

*  Please be considerate and limit the size of your pics.  A width of 640 pixels or less would be great.  

*  No comments or questions.  If you have a question about someone's bike, please start a new thread.  

*  Feel free to list your mods along with your pic if you want.

Alright!!  I finally got her put back together and running.  WOW!  Handling is awesome.  Here is a picture of her assembled.... probably going to do a repaint of the bodywork (there are a few scratches/chips), but she doesn't look half-bad.

Here is my little B4 on the track. As you can see it has Kawi front body work :lol: . Best I can find right now. Two weeks after this photo, I low sided it. It's all fixed again and ready for a track day next week  :motorsmile:

So far she's bone stock, as far as I know.  I've had her since Sept of last year, but parked her right after taking my rider training on her.  Ordered a fairing for her off ebay that should be here by the end of the month.

Here's mine. Imported it from Germany, rare 60 HP version without rings in the carburetor lids. I have a Yoshimura RS-3 stainless endcan now and steel brake hoses on the front.

RF 600 forks, billet forkbrace, EBC discs, braided brake lines, HH pads, GS500 front mudgard, B12 rear shock, jack-up ties
Crash pads (tested for saving frame and RH engine cover), billet front footrest hangers and footrests, Tommaselli handlebars, mini windscreen.

Wish a had a place and possibility to keep it along the 7/12  :sad:

my buddies 78 gs550 and my 91 bandit 400 with a yoshimura pipe stage 1 jet kit jetted for the pipe. got a few things im going to change but i love it, lots of fun to ride! new to riding but as of right now since my civic transmisison just blew up on the highway, my truck transmission from trailering my race car across country/to races is on its way out the, so bike is my new daily!

Well there she is finally all painted and looking somewhat respectable.  Quality of pics kind of suck but I spent the whole day Sunday putting her back together and was just excited to snap a few quick pics. I still have extra Bandit and S stickers available if anyone likes how they look on my bike.  Everything looks way better in person.  Now if I could only get the damn beast to start and run well again I would be all set.  More on that dilema later.

first let me make a suggestion follow my sig to okshon get a account and get your self a parts manual from them that has all the part numbers for your bike with diagrams then you can start crossing part numbers over and see what fits from a regular b4 versus a VV model.

Thanks I've already purchased the micro fiche and service manuals from the UK. They are all very clost for most if not all parts as the bikes were also offered there. Easier to read English then Japanese for me.

I am more looking for an actual store that offers decent pricing and not too far from home if possible. Thanks for the help I appreciate it.

Someone in another thread mentioned you might have or know where to get a clutch cover, signal light and headlamp housing. It's the same part as the b4 so the parts manuals say and fits the same. Just need the cover and gasket. Any ideas?

Not been on Bandit Alley much lately been bidding on ebay UK for bits for my B4, I now have most of what am after. Finally after making many bids on, and not being the wining bidder  :rant2: on numerous gsxr750 USD forks, till I won the ones I received the other day, there are a set of USD GSXR750 ws forks in vgc, got them for as little as £57. :grin: Plus pp £15. luck for me the bidding stay at £30.80 for most of the time, only 2 bidder inc me, till nr end of bidding when bidder 3 pushed it up few pounds at a time till last minutes to £57.

Other bits I've got gsxr swingarm, ect / gsxr complete rear wheel / top & bottom yokes, (Triple Tree) & stem, etc /  Front mud guard and rear hugger.
 I just need a front wheel and few small bits. 

Now got to get B4 over to my mates 24 sq ft garage which he has at the bottom of his garden, nice  :trustme:  When I can get over there to do the work.

Many thanks to all of :thumb: you that have given me infor on what parts to go for.

Hi mate, it's a 2006/2007 yamaha R6 tail. Takes a fair bit of modding to get it to fit but well worth the effort i think. :thumb:

Built a 400 for my girlfriend as a present since it was my fault she got into biking. All sorted and she's a beaut now. Very pleased with how it turned out. Complete rebuild and it looks like a brand new bike :)

It's a 250 it's registered as an 1988
I found it in the garage of the house I'd just bought with a note from the previous owner saying have fun.
So I stripped it down painted every thing to an inch of its life, stripped the carbs,
Got it running sweet as, got it MOT'd to how it looks now,
I am in two minds wether to keep it or sell it but it goes fantastic and revs it's nuts off.
I wouldn't know what it's worth any how.

Good to hear from you too ;-)
B4 is working well. VFR rebuild has not moved since January. I have been into a Project Management certification program at work and I spent most of my free time studying and preparing for the exam. Good news is that exam was last Saturday (no results yet) and I am back into the garage. VFR is gonna get what it deserves and B4 is good for some service stuffs too: I just got a carb rebuild kit from Litetek, new main jets, a K&N air filter, new Brembo pads. I still have to order a new EBC front brake disc.

More on that later :-)

I like the side bags. Do you know who made it and/or if they are still available? I am mildly considering byuing another bike just because I am not able to get any sort of bags for this one except of spider bungees. But each and every time I enter the garage "Man this bike is so beautiful" runs through my head. I've already seen similar on one photograph but it was more than 10 years old.

The saddle bags are Degner Sports NB-13 I picked up in Japan last year for $30USD at an UpGarage.  They look small, but can expand 2x the width and came with water resistant covers. Still available new, but you're probably better off trying to find them from a Japanese company as US Amazon is way to expensive.  There are similar style bags available such as the NB-76 from places like Web!ke for anywhere between $120-150USD.   

The tank bag is my ancient Motofizz magnetic with clear map pocket. 

All together they'll hold enough necessities for a weekend ride without the burden of a backpack.
