Bandit Clutch Switch connector.
« on: November 21, 2010, 06:54:02 PM »
Hi all, I need help as I am restoring a bandit 400.

The problem beings because I have 3 wires I cant account, All the switch gear is connected the only thing to plug in is the clutch switch but I have lost the unit so one of the 3 must be for the clutch switch.

The 3 wires in the healamp loom that I cant account are..
1 brown bullet female
1 black/white bullet female
1 green terminal connector male

The bulleted connectors I would guess are for the turn signals while the green switch is power of some sort, obviously alot considering the guage of the wire.

The clutch switch is two wires but I can't recall what the colors were. I also don't remember them running into the headlamp assembly. Check the manual's wiring diagram to make sure.

Thanks for the help..
The manual does not show the clutch switch at all.

The indicators I have found and taped up red, so the clutch switch must be the brown and or b/w?

To disable to switch would i just join the to wires together?

Also this leaves the question what is the green power connector for?  :banghead:
