water from exhaust ?
« on: June 08, 2006, 05:34:40 AM »
I can take dropping my handphone, losing the diamond from my wedding ring, laptop dead after 2 years but a new problem with my 94 B4 is almost 2 much to take.
Water ...not steam is coming from the exhaust & gurgling sounds. On a car its usually a head gasket, similar deal on the bike or anything else to look for?

Water is a normal component of combustion, I would guess that you have taken the bike on short rides where the bike and exhaust have not warmed up completley to get rid of the moisture. If this is the  case take if for a good long ride.

If it's too much water to be condensation, the problems & solutions would be just like a car.
