Gents,

I came along some nice bar end mirrors on this site:

Does anyone know how large the internal handelbar diameter of a GSF400N (1992) is?

i don't know the diameter, but i just removed my mirrors.

i've got a mirror in my helmet since saturday

works perfectly (but expensive) and the helmet is very silent

It's a standard 7/8 inch bar. From reading the link, it would work fine on your (or any other size) Bandit.

Not sure about your local regulatory requirements, but I have a strong feeling this helmet (or one of those rear view camera/video screens) wouldn't resolve you from the laws on the books we have in my state that require a mirror on the left & right of motorcycles.

Red01, thanks. However theirs an issue... 7/8inches equates to 22.2mm which is larger the largest size they have.

I contacted the company but they didn't answer me. I guess they don't know.

Someone told me to measure the screw of the bar end with a vernier caliper. I'll try that too and post feedback on the BBS.

Keep in mind that 22.2mm is the OUTSIDE diameter, the inside will be less (obviously).
