It's out of my price range as well. I bought a second rear seat with the intention of fabing up my own but haven't had the time to work on it.

Raincheck_uk, since the seat cowl is from Germany's Gimbel, you may be able to find it cheaper on your side of the pond... either direct from Gimbel, or if you can find a local dealer of their products. No real sense in odering a German product from the US dealer and paying for the part to have a half-world tour that it can't even enjoy...

I tried looking up Gimble on the web, but it came up with nothing really. Do you think i should just call around the shops in my area and see if any stock Gimble?? All their parts come from Germany, but i guess it would still be fairly pricey. Thanks for your help :thanks:

Thanks for that. I tried it, but still not much luck! I think i might take the seat to a guy called Tony Archer who is very well known for making high quality seats. He's only about 2 miles from me so ill try that. It will be a lot cheaper. I guess if im still not happy ill just have to save up for a little while!!
