I have the 750 bandit FINALLY running almost at 100%. I put a 750 ecu on it and hello!!!!!! first gear smooth power wheelies like my 01 1k(back in the day) second gear it pulls hard feels like it wants to come up. keep in mind I have a 2 inch longer wheel base than a gsxr.   I'll do some more testing tomorrow. But this bike is damn fast. I cant wait till I pull up to a newer 750 I think I'm running 16/43 which I think is stock gearing for a srad. I have a 15 on the 600 I have, but I think it'll be toooo much. I would definatelly kill the 750s then. Would be bad a$$ to pull up to a liter bike and hang for a bit. The good thing is that I'm a pretty decent rider so that'll help me stay with for a while.   Will keep you posted.

Be careful out there playing on the streets though.  I'm from the DC area and tis the season for street racing crashes (OK I'll take the bigbrother hat off).

Sounds like a fun project, keep us posted on handling characteristics etc. as you shake out the bike.

It looks the same as before. I'll be taking it to the 1/4 mile track soon. I hope to get some daily driving in here real soon. (raining) Then some longer rides as well.  also will be taking it to the dyno to see how much HP I was loosing  running the 600 ecu. 1.0 w. 600 ecu. I was told on the gixxer board about 10 hp difference.  so that puts me having about 117 = healthy 750 motor.

I'm looking for a Fi srad motor actually. I found a 06 1k motor in san antonio (4 hrs away) but I think it's too much for the frame. If I can get a good deal on it then I'm going to try it. I have a spare frame in the garage. hehe

The frame isn't even designed for serious cornering Better keep an eye on the welds, mine are losing their paint, but the bike has 98000 km on the clock, 62000 by me in 3 years

I don't know if I agree with that.   Back in the day I would hang with 600 and 750 on the tight tracks. With a few suspension upgrade It COULD really fly around them. The 91 gsxr front end REALLY made a difference. Yes when I go back through the bike I will check them all.  I have a few more small things to do on it. I want to give the 91 gsxr rear rim a try again when I have more time.

Well.... if you ride on a bumpy forest canyon road, Isle of Man TT style, and still get a bit of molten tire compound on the side of the front and rear tire when it's only 0 to 6 degrees Centigrade outside... you are at the point where you can actually feel the frame working and complaining. Front suspension is GSXR 750 '92, rear suspension is RGV 250 '92 and GSXR 750 '92. The bike stands on Pilot Power 2CT. Only thing I haven't got, yet, is a steering damper, I kind of enjoy the handlebars slapping around.

anything race compound actually.  I usually by take offs.   I live in Houston texas and there aren't too many nice rice around here.


 ON a side note a rolloing chassis gsxr 600 weighs 167 lbs.  frame,forks wheels subframe, and pegs... just thought I would through that out there...
This frame is 45 ounds light than a rolling bandit frame.

Got it running pretty good right now. I'm running 15 47 sprockets. I want to find some one race. On a side note,  I might sale the motor tomorrow.  I asked the guy to bring his 900rr to gauge my bike. He declined. " I have some motor work done to it, I'm pushing about 170 hp." HA! I laugh at you!!!!!!!!!!  I told him to bring it anyway. I'm selling the motor and 98 gsxr 600 forks and swing arm for 1K.  I'm going to buy a complete 97  750 for $1300 directly after that. hehehehe.  So it'll be down for a while.  I can't pass up a complete bike for $300 out of pocket. I'l try to get some pics  tomorrow and a video of me and the 900.
