Title: BST32 Needle jets...
Post by: Zhi on September 09, 2005, 12:57:29 AM
Well, I think I have put it off long enough, so it is probably time for me to seriously hunker down and change the little buggers. With that said, has anyone successfully sourced out the needle jets for the 32 mm carbs?

I have a nagging feeling that they are the same as the 32mm carbs on the GS500E, but I've not been able to confirm it...

You can get them through Bike Bandit, but prepared to wait.

Bike bandit has discontinued them. Also doesn't the GS500 use a couple of bst33 carbs?

GS 500 has either 32 or 33 mm carbs. Depends on the model type.

Kind of... the jetting is totally different as well, main jet is #130 for example.

You could always put a jet kit in it...

Jet kits don't come with the needle jets... usually just the jet needles, springs, and mains. Suzuki has them listed as discontinued.

So if you want them your pretty much SOL.

Oh, crap, you meant the jets not the needles...  :duh:

I always get those two mixed up.
