I've never seen any kind of bent tubes to go in clipons. It seems like they would be hard to secure - would end up with too much leverage twisting them out of postition.

I'm sure someone on here would be happy to trade with you, may be your best/low cost bet.

Yeah.... for someone with (or that wants clips), it would really suck to have to have that Jap spec top yoke without the ugly ass empty bosses sticking up at you. :stickpoke: :monkeymoon: Good idea!

This guy from the UK has rigged something up so that bar clamps screw into where the clipsons screw down...

I just put clip ons on my B4. I would be willing to trade you for your top triple clamp. I will throw in the stock bars, if you want them.
You can contact me via email at racerruss at bellsouth dot net

Well after almost 5 years with clip on's I tell you that clip on's are great when you ride for fun.
I use the bike every day in all condition roads and trafic and i need the comfort an the lever that handlebar has

True True I can see your point :beers: and there are some good looking bars out there.
Good luck on the convert. Unfortuniatly I have no valuable input into this topic.

What country are you in? Does your domestic model come with bars? If so, you might be able to find the parts at a salvage outfit.
The best way would be to swap upper triple clamps (and bars/clip ons) with someone with a handlebar equipped model. Then the cost would just be the shipping - unless you find a local interested party.
If you don't find any takers - which I kinda doubt would be a problem - you could drill your upper triple and mount bar clamps to it.

Perhaps a new topic:
My clip-ons for your standard handlebar.
Lurkers easily get caught by that.

Paul - I believe he's in Greece.
Randy - He needs the top triple and the bars. His model came with clips standard and therefor no boss for tubular bars.

I know.
I was playing a captain obvious for him as a ****HINT**** to use to attract summo' atenshun
n'stuff.
Pilot powers on the way, btw. No more messing around.

the alternative to changing the top yoke is to get some adapters, like these >>>>

Can I just ask why do you want to do this? The riding position on the little Bandits is well satisfying! Low enough to look and feel sporty but upright enough to be comfortable. Long live clip ons!
Edit: lol sorry didn't notice your reply as to why you want normal bars. Oh well, each to his own n all that!
