Hello!
Well, my rectifier died.. battery died, bought a new one but measured only 13v with running engine (should be >13.5v).
Measured resistance on rectifier and it's infinite between all the connectors...
So I guess it's broken.. however can't really find one for my GSF400.
The GS500 looks to be the same, and it's also pretty much the same sort of bike.
Does anyone know whether I can use one from the GS500?
Some aftermarket rectifiers like this one (http://racetechelectric.com/i-11767439-ricks-suzuki-gsf400-gs500-dr650-rectifier-regulator.html) are for both GSF400 and GS500....so maybe the original ones are the same also?
Thanks

Oh, in an attempt to not make this topic 100% useless.
Would you say my regulator/rectifier is dead from looking at this movie?

Story: dead battery (would work sometimes after ride, sometimes not). Measured battery..<5v while starting so bought a new one.
Charged battery to 13.5V, started her up, but I'm only measuring 13.3V with running engine. According to manual it should be >13.5 - 15.5V.
Alternator/generator is good.. 75V AC
Regulator/rectifier gets very hot within 3minutes idle.
Thanks

my bad on the capital letters. Not sure how that happened.
Wasn't trying to look like the "dick on the boards"
