Hi everyone,
I've searched the FAQ's first, but to no avail.
The official Suzuki service manual (page 7-13) for the B4 says 4 things need to be replaced when replacing the fork seals:
1. Anti-friction metal (outer)
2. Anti-friction metal (inner)
3. Oil seal
4. Dust seal
I'm trying to order these parts from Bike Bandit, and for the life of me, I can't identify the "inner tube metal". Following the link below, could someone else identify it. If you have any other hints I'd greatly appreciate them. Thanks

When I changed mine I only replaced the oil seal and the clip that holds the oil seal in place. In order to get the forks apart I had to purchase special too "G" and a long socket extension.

3 and 10 for some reason it says 10 is a piston? ones the inner teflon bushing the other is the outer teflon bushing , these take up the slop in the fork tube if you have seals that go out all the time and your tubes look good chances are these are bad . also hard stopping and stoppies are bad for these. :beers:

Interfuse, gsxr400racer,
Thank you so much for helping, I'm ordering the parts now. When the bike comes together I'll post pictures. The tank is off right now getting it's dents filled and painted. Thanks again!

Hi Guys. I just got a bandit 400 and the only thing it need besides body work is the front fork seals replaced. Where can I get the special g tool at?

There's a few recent posts about the tools needed to do fork seals. If you have an impact gun, things are much easy and less expensive. You'll just need a long 8mm allen bit and a 12mm allen wrench for the front axle.
