Does anyone have a spare carb body lying around that I could maybe possibly acquire?
While doing the kits on mine I left to get a tool and returned to find it lying on the ground with a corner knocked off of the topside, opposite the vaccuum hole. :duh: :annoy: The screw hole has busted off and one option is to get it welded back on so I can screw the caps on but I'd like to see about getting one to replace it.
I now need to try to get it welded or find a new carb body.... I will post measurement tomorrow.
Thanks so much.

Which carb? I have 3 spare bodies here.

Thanks Bart and Banditmax... Where does it say they'll ship to Canada? My last name is Vandenboer and all but I can't speak a lick of Dutch or anything but French and English.

Banditmax.... I have mikuni carbs but not sure what size. there is an ID tag stamped on the side that says 32DO and K234. From the manuals I have I get only European and US specs not the JPN ones. From what I can tell though they are 32mm Mikuni.
I really only need the throttle body and paying $80 bucks just to ship to Canada in 2-3 weeks really isn't at the top of my list. I can only hope to get it welded and then have something on the way a tad more locally.
Seems I have no luck at all with this thing. :annoy:
Here's what happened...

I wanted those ones bartjan :(
you can still buy them
judging from the last 5 sets of B4/gsxr400 carbs on ebay (uk and german) they will probably sell for about 60 pounds

Well after ~$35CAN for welding, a tap, file, proper drill bit the busted piece is now fixed and the cap seals again!!!
Problem solved for now but still need to get a replacement carb.
I have measured them to be 33mm Mikuni if anyone should have a carb body and cap lying around. (The black cap was cracked apparently as well so need that too. :D)
Otherwise it's time to buy the spare carb bank.
Cheers everyone for the help.

You can have the set off my project bike if you want.
shipping and a nominal price (make me an offer).

Ive got a spare cap here if you want it can get in in the air mail on monday shouldn't cost you to much. Say £2 + whatever it costs me to ship it. I also have a whole bank of carbs which are not much use to me. Theyre 33mm ones like yours. Which carb in the bank is it? Left or right? Or maybe one of the middle ones.
-
no just to help Jody out he needs 33mm carbs with the TPS switch for the VV or all he can use is the 3 of the carb bodies unless a plug pops out and you can mount that TPS to any suzuki 33mm carbs i dont know but im thinking the TPS has something to do with his cams opening as well.

With the ones on my bike fixed and talking with Jay I'm debating taking the opportunity to upgrade my carbs but with the TPS problem I might encounter kindly pointed out by Jay I'm not sure what my options are.
Anyone out there with a VV Bandit that might be able to shed some light on the TPS issue with the cam changes and how it'll affect the carb switch?
Cheers!
