Title: Chain & sprocket for GJ77A Bandit 250 ('01)
Post by: Colin on February 08, 2009, 01:57:42 PM
Just wondering if anyone could help me. I've a 250 bandit import, model GJ77A. I'm going to be needing a new chain & sprockets for it soon. I'm fairly new to bikes & don't have to much maintenance experience. Can anyone tell me where I could get a replacement chain & sprockets? I'm in Ireland so preferably somewhere in the UK or Europe. Also I've been looking for a left side engine cover for it. again if anyone can help me out here I'd appreciate it :thumb:.

Hi Colin,
HELLO AND WELCOME!
www.motorcycle-road-and-race.co.uk
They list a chain & sprocket kit £79 delivered. The 250's are rare, there are some gxsr250 engine covers on ebay but you got a couple of different types so you'd have to see if one matches yours but parts should be shared.

Cheers for that.  :thanks:.

Just looked & I can only find sets for the GJ74A on that site. Are they the same as the ones for the GJ77A?

There is no listing anywhere for the 2nd gen B250 but i think they are the same, if the shop are worth there weight they will offer a return, if not try wemoto, on their site you can click on the sprocket titles and get diagrams with sizes that you could compare to your bike.
