Does anyone know if these, mounted on the frame where the engine mounts as well, save the engine covers onder most conditions?
-
You know, I've always kinda wondered that too. Good question. My guess is that the base of the peg and the frame slider would keep the covers off the ground during a slide.
-
I know the Z1000 guys actually have a case slider that's available to them with replaceable pucks. Just bolt inplace of the usual covers and have a bolt-on slider for the outer surface.
Kind of wish it were available to us seeing that in theory none exist without some customizing.
