the b4v has variable valve engine which basically gives it a little more boost when revved high. This model is usual found with a red valve cover found at the top end of the engine. I have had both types and do prefer the v spec which feels a little more lively.

Finally, can I ask if you found some engine / ECU mods for the V? Dynojet and some Japanese guys don't help especially when ours is a U.S. version. But a good pipe definitely works with it.
