I noticed some issues on another board with imageshack hosted pics lately... might wanna set up a photobucket account. I find it's easier to deal with than IS anyway.

But testing to see if this'll work:

Jay you look out of place. Perhaps it was the lack of corners and 1370' distance thats doing it...

Funny enough, I realized that after I typed it and just never corrected it.

1370 is the number of yards in a mile. Whoops!

No, that's 1760.  :duh:

And to save any more possible embarassment, it's not how many meters in a mile either.
That's 1609.344.

I give up. I'm pretty worthless at this point.

I would have went with, 'I meant to type 1320, but spaced and hit "7" instead of "2"' and no one would have been the wiser.

Too late now though.   :stickpoke:

Don't blame yourself, blame your measurement system. METRIC is way easier!  1/4 KM = 250 metres, 1/2 KM = 500 metres, 1 KM = 1000 metres.

(insert metric sucks jokes here)

Not from me... I wish the US would get with the program and go metric. (We were supposed to back in the 80's - but the plan fell thru.) It's a more sensible system.

Nah, with the banner week I've been having, I'm surprise I even got close.

Besides, I have a laptop, physically impossible to screw it up that bad. And FWIW I own no inchical tools. Everything I have is metric, let me tell you how much of a pisser it was to find an allen key to fit the bolts for my flyscreen (Buell).

Find one that's close and wrap a piece of tape around it.

For sockets that are close, but not quite, a bit of rag over the bolt/nut will usually do the trick... that's what I did as a kid when I got my first bike (a Suzuki) and my dad only had SAE tools.

Or just vise-grip the shit out of it 'til its round like I've done to my oil plug!   :duh:
