ok im noticing that alot of people from the usa dont have dual font discs standard.....was this the case with usa delivered bikes?? my jap import had dual fronts as standard??
-
North America only got the single disc versions. UK got single or double discs depending on whether you got the Limited, the V or the regular versions. I think most of the rest of the world got twin discs. There are quite a few here though that now have doubles from GSXR or Katana front ends.

I'm gonna fight the power and keep my single front disk, haha. Now that I have an FZR400, I'm not trying to make mine a canyon carver anymore, just a good 'ol streetfighter/sport tourer compromise
Having said that, I never understood why they only put one disk on the US version, cost savings for all the bikes they sold here

It's interesting, they used left-sided singles on the B4 and right-sided on the GS500. They both use the same discs (side-specific, of course) as some bigger, twin-disced bikes like the B12.
