Title: Engine guards for Bandit 400?
Post by: the procrastinator on March 11, 2012, 09:35:21 PM
Has anyone come across engine guards/crash bars/nerf bars for the B4?  I'm looking for something like the black engine guards Renntec makes for the B12.  (I have sliders installed on the frame under the tank and behind the radiator but they don't inspire a lot of confidence.) :deadhorse:

Unobtainium. I've seen some but finding them is another story.

I resorted to epoxying delrin plucks to the cases. People have welded aluminum pucks to them as well.

Something is better than nothing.

I found this one with a search engine:

The price isn't bad but the quality is unknown. :headscratch:

I found some online (Yahoo Auctions Japan) and the price isn't bad for a set (around $75)

The 250cc model:

1200cc:

apparently Renntech makes a set:

otherwise plug in "バンディット エンジンガード" into Google (.com or .co.jp, either or) and you'll see some results.  put in a number inbetween to denote cc;  "バンディット 400 エンジンガード

hope this helps.
