Looks like an airbrake to me!

lol i had had my fairing mounted a little to high with the nose up instead of facing down and let me tell you when you pull out of the draft on the little 400 air brake aint the word for it :stickpoke:

I get the hint of sarcasm, but I don't get which way you're going with it. :headscratch:  :headscratch:
Are you saying it was more like a leading edge slat, lifting the nose?
Or more like a drag chute's instant drag?

i had the nose of mine to far up when i mounted the 750 fairing ... to far away from the fender ... even when fulling braking still to far ... when i pulled out of the draft i lost 2-3000 rpm about 5-10 bike lengths down the back straight, so i lowered the nose nice and slip stream.. so i would say like a drag chute
