400 bandit v
« on: December 06, 2006, 05:44:56 PM »
I have just had to replace the engine in my bandit 400v, but the new (second hand) engine is only firing on two cylinders.

I'm wondering if this might be because it only has one sensor on the engiine block. The old engine had four.
The new engine sensor only has a two pin plug but the loom has two four pin plugs.

I'm hoping someone out there can suggest a way around this problem.

Thanks Kev

Probably would get a better response if you posted in the Bandit 400 section.  I personally don't know anything about 400's, so I can't help you.
