Title: First ride since december 30!
Post by: interfuse on April 05, 2008, 05:41:34 PM
Looks totally ghetto with a cracked tail fairing but it started and runs. A nice stress relieving romp around the city was exactly what the doctor ordered.

*edit no speaky english after bike ride

It's good for the heart and soul, isn't it?

Are you having spring yet?

No snow left and 62 degrees. This is the first nice weekend since spring started. I'm realizing that I should have been more vigilant with going to the gym. My body feels like it's going to fall apart. It's a good feeling though...

I know you weren't out skiing with me!! :stickpoke: Your hills look a little too brown.

Skiis are put away now, bike should be on the road by next Saturday for me. I'd do it sooner, but we have some rain in the forcast, and I'm oout of town Wed/Thursday.

I have been riding my Ural patrol over the winter, but it's great to be on the bandit again....

I got out for the 1st time in a long time myself yesterday. I went to Las Vegas last week with my wife to visit her sistersand Mom. One of her brothers drove up from San Deiago too. I came home with a extra grand yesterday morning and the only snow left was the piles from plowing at the edge of my driveway. Took the Bandit out and got to test the smaller piolot and higher needle adjustment. Looks like I need to get some 35s seemed a little lean with the 32.5s.
Today I'll take the SV out for a spin. Sure feels good to get out again! Mostly on the main roads, the back roads look like they've been bombed. There had been some rains while I was gone to wash the roads down some and get rid of the salt, but alot of loose gravel in the intersections.  Loks nice and sunny this morning looking foward to the ride.
Looks like a good route, Mongo. mountains are a great place to ride!           Dan

Well thats a hell of a way to park, although it does take up less room on the road.
Reggie,  If I can somehow make it down,I will. I have a big mud job going on about that time so I'll see how things schedule out.  If I come I'll take my wife along, she's digging this whole vacation thing. After being married with kids for 30+ yrs, we can finally get away from time to time now. Besides, she keeps me from getting tickets(although I have been stopped w/ her on the back, but got a warning). I'll mark that on my calender. Where is Robinsville again?   Dan
