Since using vernier calipers is not very accurate or representable if you want to measure and adjust with an accuracy of 0.10 mm I've made this handy tool to measure them from a fixed position using a height meter. Neat thing is, if you turn it around you can have a cup of coffee :lol:

Substract 41.80 mm from 56.00 mm (height of the tool) and there is the exact float height.
