Title: for the peeps with the 3rd wire to the cdi
Post by: gsxr400 racer on October 05, 2006, 10:37:53 AM
The restriction is 180k's which equates to around 118mph if i remember correctly. Will be different if you don't have stock gearing. The green and yellow wire to the CDI requires a resistor to be put in place which immobilises the restriction. I used to have an M-max box but i managed to blow that up! Now running a resistor module but can't remember what the resistance is on it.

not sure , ive been looking into it for awhile i will see what else i can dig up , but i truely think that the b4 with the 3 wires is the same. would benafit from a m-max or a posh de restrictor.

this explains it all , and i would also say that if you have the 3rd wire and if you trace the wire to the the gear selector drum buy the front sprocket then you need one of these boxes.
cheers
