Title: frame sliders?

are there any out there? im just looking for somethig to help me keep the bike in the good condition its in now.  I live in a college town and you know that means parties at the house so im trying to keep it from getting damage should some irresponsible drunk person knock it over on accident.  

I've been unable to locate some thus far but didnt know if anyone here has modified some to fit or not.

I modified some sliders to fit the bike. I had some plates welded on to the frame. I will send you some photos when I get home. I think it looks great. I had to modify because I could not find any that would bolt on to any place on the frame where it looked half decent. I will send photos tonight.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, because it isn't the same as the one on the wild hair page, but I have sliders a machinist buddy of mine made for me. They have an aluminum core for strength, and the outside is nylon for sliding. They attach to the motor mount bolts. If you are interested I can get some better pictures and find out if he would be interested in making some for sale.  Meanwhile, the crappy pictures I have are here:

You can see the aluminum 'core' in one of the pictures. My machinist friend says he will make them for $US 65 plus $US 5 for shipping in North America. He can make them in either black or white. If you ( or anyone else ) want a pair, give me your contact info. and I will pass it along to him.
