gimbel solo seat cowl
« on: December 10, 2005, 04:13:53 PM »
so i was lucky enough to get one for my birthday, now that it's painted, i go to put it on, well not that it's a job for a brain surgeon or anything but it came with foam weather stripping type stuff that's too long to lay down along the straight side (the part that would go against the front seat) but too short to line the rest of it.  did anyone else use theirs or did you just throw it out, would it make any difference, considering the cowl is just cosmetic anyways.
 :thanks:

:congrats:

I have one.  It was on my bike (without any edging) when I got the bike so I'm not sure where it's supposed to go.  I will tell you that it has rubbed the tail plastics pretty bad about 2/3 of the way back.  I did have a tail pack strapped over it so it's probably my fault.  :banghead:
