I did the adjustment today, when i replace the shims , i drop one shim to the cam chain hole, what can i do now?
Should i remove the oil pan? i 'm so careless.................... help!
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can try using a very slim extendable magnet and get lucky or you can drop the pan. Sorry I thought this was a 1250.

seems it's not on the Head Assy, Cylinder, when i try to pick it up, i saw it follow the cam chain down......
:duh:

i removed the in and ex cam shaft, accumulator, then use a steel wire and a magnet to fish it out.
it's ok now.

Good work- i use two of the magnetic ariel type magnets and use one to remove the old shim and have the new one ready on the other to fit.
