Hi All, quick introduction, i'm Chris and i'm looking at buying a 92 400 Bandit.
Have a bit of a plan for some modifications in the future but initially the bike i'm looking at has a suspected failed head gasket.
Are the 400s prone to head gasket failure? Should be a fairly straight forward thing to sort out i guess
Cheers
Chris

They are not prone to head gasket failure.
Not too difficult to do the gasket so long as you have good basic mec skills.

Thanks Chris, good to know it's not a common problem
Just waiting to find out why they suspect its the head gasket.
Yeah shouldn't be a problem to do, i used to spanner for a living.
Built a few different bikes
