Title: Headlight ideas

Hey guys, anyone done any cool headlight swaps like this one? http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/1175515/ (http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/1175515/)  I cant figure out what it came from or how he did it.  I'm thinking maybe 2005-6-7-8 GSXR... Ive been toying with the idea for a while, and saw some for cheap on ebay just the other day.  I saw an old post about a SuperDuke headlight, but the pics had been deleted.  Just thought I'd throw a line out and see what I get!(http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/1175515/)

I think you're right about that SV sporting a GSXR headlight.

Another popular swap is a headlight with or without the flyscreen from a Buell Lightning like Bobcat's old B6:

This is a pretty inexpensive way to go, even buying new parts from Buell... at least is was ~5 years ago when Bobcat did his conversion.

There was a guy on BA a while ago that did something similar to a B12.  If you search over in those forums, you may find his writeups and pics.  There are also posts here and in the 400 FAQ forum about what folks, including me, did with their B4s.  I do think I read somewhere that Buell had significantly increased the cost of the setup like Bobcat had.

I'm thinking about doing a V-Rod headlight on my B4. I used one on my Ducati Monster and my Hawk 650.
