Imagine your excitement if he'd been from Frankfurt!

Or even from Wien (Vienna)...

(...frankfurters and wieners...) :stickpoke:

I wouldn't be surprised if some of us don't know where Germany is.

Anyway, welcome to the board, Dole!

Dole - you had me laughing with that!   :toofunny: While I have 4 years of high school and 2 semesters of college of German language and culture classes, my grasp of the geography is "nicht so gut" (sorry - no umlaut on my American keyboard!).

Search through this forum about the exhaust.  I dont' think Yosh makes one anymore, there is a post somewhere about a Laser system that should be available (if they are still making it) over there in Europe.

Wien is Austria, by the way, but still German-speaking, I know.

I read there as well, haven't posted anything until today. I go under the name of 'Quincy' there, as 'Herr Tod' is a bit too weird in Germany

On your american keyboard, hold the alt key and type 1172 and release it should show an ö.  I haven't been able to find the u with umlauts.

Welcome to the board by the way.
I actually have a cousin who lives in Munich and an aunt who lives in Wien.  I went there for 3 months in 1996, but the only German I really remember is all of the bad stuff.  And of course how to ask for cigarettes and beer. :beers:

Nope - you can't upload pics to Pete's servers.  They have to be served elsewhere.  Here's (http://forums.banditalley.net/viewtopic.php?t=520) a post from the board FAQ on how to link pics here.

No, no umlauts for me.  When I hold the ALT and start pressing numbers the keyboard just "dings" at me.  I probably have some sort of foreign character support files missing.

But that's OK, I don't need it!  Umlauts just represent an "e" anyway.

Oesterreich ueber alles!
