I had torn down my bike to repaint the frame and engine, as well as install a gsxr front end, I labeled every single electrical connector but some spilled fuel or brake fluid washed my markings on my spark plug wires as to which one goes to which cylinder. The service manual is really helpful, I believe it said "connect the spark plug wires to their correct cylinders", thanks suzuki! I have them hooked up how the wires best seem to fit was far as reach, but the bike won't start, everything else should be connected correctly, fresh battery, its getting spark, getting fuel, so I'm wondering if I have a couple of them crossed.

left coil 1-4 right coil 2-3 cylinder goes sitting on bike left 1234 . if that does work unplug back of coils hook wires to other coil and try to fire up
-
or right coil 1-4 and left coil 2-3
-
let me just make sure I understand that right, that would mean one coil pack's wires go to the two outtermost cylinders, and the other coil's wires go to the two innermost cylinders?

learning is fun
i'll have to look again but i didn't think there was enough slack to run them that way, so i obviously did something wrong or i'm just forgetting how they look

left coil, as if youre sitting on the bike, its on your left...is for 1&4....

Open mouth insert foot, yes learning is fun, and possibly just solved much of my frustations.
