FYI Jay. I tried to get some of these earlier on and their warehouse had burned down. At the time (mid-Feb) they were about 4-5 weeks from getting in a replenishment of the street version.

I was going to get the race ones because I'm doing it for protection, not looks so I'm not sure if these are available yet.

A mate lowsided his B4 at the track and scraped away one side of the engine.

Alos, the first bit to hit the ground tends to be the front corner of the frame.  Bent frame = major hassle.

So, armour and crash bungs could be a good investment.

I've been thinking about going the reinforcement route myself.
Think your buddy can make them to take bolt-on derlin sliders a la Z1000 Jay?

I'd spend the money your way instead of some fancy-pants carbon ones from England.
