Ok I'm impressed by the riders talent but I'm totally impressed that any one can memorize where to go and what to do and when to do it on that track.
i would have been lost in the 1st few turns.

absolutly mad, what were you using to do that then??
-
Total joke, it isn't me but someone on a 400 in Japan.
I only wish I were that good....

I'd love to see some contests like that here in the US. Skills like that translate very handily to riding on the road.

Sure can that second one is me on holiday in japan on a vfr 400 SIKE!
Auto cross for bikes only in japan, You wanna learn real skills that translate to your bike buy a XR100 and build A small circle track in a feild the smaller the better and see how long you can ride in one gear and how fast you can get around it , then see if you can do it with out ever putting your foot down! I off season train on a XR100 ! Then if you really wanna get nuts do what we did take the front brake cable off! ride like that , then put a street tire on the front , ride like that, then put the dirt tire back on then put a street on the rear ride like that , then leave front brake off put street tires front and back that will really teach ya throttle control and good sliding technics! :beers:

Along the lines of riding slicks on the dirt, I know of a school that does that exact thing. Name isn't coming to mind right now...
They go from CA to DE (of all places) and it's a two-day thing. No speeds greater that 15 and apparantly a pisser of a time.
