Title: high idling speed

when the bandit starts up, the idling speed is around 3000 rpm or so. after about 30 seconds, this creeps up to about 4000rpm. whats up with it? ive checked the throttle cable and it is not 'open'.

Have you tried turning down the idle speed adjustment knob? Look at the left side of the bike, there's a knob by the carb. Turn it towards the front wheel to turn down the idle speed.

cheers, sorted that out, thought it only went 2 or so turns each way!

the bike's throttle is very sensitive though, i think the mechanism on the carbs is sticking.
